The room was acceptable for what we paid, and the young woman at reception was courteous when we arrived. Breakfast was reasonable, although a few cooked options would have improved it. I’d stay here again if I were in the area.

There was a good variety of food at breakfast, and the staff were good. The bathroom had no shower curtain, though. Still, it was nice and clean, and the stay was a very good experience for me, about a 7 out of 10.

The early check-in went very well, and the staff were nice. After that, things were poor: our room was in bad shape, with a smashed mirror and dirty bathroom, and slamming doors made a lot of noise. Many guests in a tour group were shouting in the corridors. Breakfast was okay, but letting dogs into the restaurant while people are eating is disgusting.

The walls are so thin that you hear everything other guests do. The room had a rusty sink drain and damaged paint, and when I complained, the staff showed no reaction or effort to improve things. It feels like the hotel assumes its location means it doesn’t need to invest in its rooms, decor or service. It charges quality-hotel prices for a budget stay. I won’t use it again.

We enjoyed our evening meal, and breakfast was good too. It was handy to have the hotel shuttle to the airport. The room itself was very basic, and we missed having the kettle, tea bags, coffee and long-life milk that similar-category hotels in the UK provide.
