Hôtel Spa Face à la Mer

A nice little hotel right on the beach. There isn't air conditioning in the rooms. Parking at the hotel is limited, but there is a car park across the road with a 2m height limit, as well as roadside parking.

The staff were pleasant, and the location is great, right across from the beach with a free parking lot nearby where you can leave the car during your stay. But the amenities were disappointing. There were only a couple of small hairs on the sink counter when we arrived, and the bed was far too firm for us to sleep well. For a place calling itself a spa hotel, I expected robes and slippers, and even lotion would have been nice. The toiletries were just hand wash and a combined shampoo and body wash. In-room tea and coffee came as powder packets, not pods. The Wi-Fi kept dropping and only worked about half the time, so it wasn't reliable enough for a Zoom call. We skipped breakfast, so I can't comment on it. If you're used to a branded hotel, this one may fall short. It was almost no-frills.

We were there for one night in a family studio with bunk beds. The hotel has no restaurant, so we ate nearby at la lodge, where the food was delicious. Our room had a full kitchen, plus a water filter bottle that works electrically and a meditation box, both new to me and impressive. They'd also thought of a hair dryer and straightener, which came in handy when my hair went fizzy. There's a private car park too. Fab little hotel right on the beach.

The staff were professional and gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. Our room was clean and well equipped, and the beach is just across the street. A beautiful place, what more can you ask for?
