The room was simple, with a sloping roof, but it had everything we needed, including heating, and we slept in complete silence. We arrived easily in the middle of winter for one night. The owner greeted us warmly and was helpful, maybe a little too helpful. The entrance and room both caught us by surprise, and breakfast was served in the dining room as we’d requested. The owners are very kind and deserve their four-star rating, but I definitely wouldn’t come back.

We had such a warm welcome from this lovely host family. The place is run with real passion, and we ended up having wonderful conversations that made the time fly. You almost forget why you came. Be sure to try their regional or home-grown products. Thanks again for a pleasant stay, and we hope to see you again. Highly recommended.

We had a great time chatting with the hostess, who speaks fluent English and Russian. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast at the house was generous, with organic products sourced locally. The welcome was warm too. I highly recommend this place.

What makes this the most wonderful house in Normandy? The owners are wonderful people, so versatile, welcoming, hospitable, and knowledgeable about authentic French cuisine. It’s a truly cozy place!
