The staff made a huge difference when I got sick over a bank holiday weekend and needed emergency care. We asked for the right number to call, but they called for us, explained what was happening, helped us communicate, and directed us to the emergency department. They even checked on me the next day. They were patient with my many questions and helped in English when I struggled with French. There was so much to like about the site. The three pools were spotless and had plenty of comfortable seating: a warm, deep indoor pool, a lagoon with a sandy beach, and a heated outdoor pool that was great fun. The play area was large and well kept, and there’s a small petting farm too. The caravans sit among mature shade trees, with plenty of parking. Our accommodation was spotless, well equipped, and a high standard. Sheets aren’t supplied, so bring your own; I booked at the last minute and missed that, which was my mistake. I think towels can be hired. Fellow Brits may want a travel kettle, though there’s a lovely coffee filter machine. The covered terrace had a big table and chairs, handy for meals outside, and you can hire a BBQ. The laundry and drying facilities were useful. WiFi was free, fibre, and very stable across the site. I could teach on Zoom and the kids streamed movies easily. It got a little patchy on the busy Bank Holiday, but still worked well. We ate at the bar and restaurant once. The service was good and the food tasty. There’s beautiful coastline, greenery, and history around the area, and it’s all very flat for cycling. I almost didn’t write this because I wanted to keep the place secret, but the service deserved a mention. I used to wonder why people returned to the same holiday spot year after year. I’m already planning another visit. Absolutely five stars, 10/10.

The nearby salt marshes and ocean make for a beautiful setting. It’s a good family campsite, with activities for all ages, a nice pool, and pitches for both large and small tents and caravans. We had a great stay.

We’d booked ten nights but left after just a couple. The music and bar noise were ridiculous, and three young families were put on pitches between that and the competing noise from the campsite next door. It was a miserable start to our holiday.

This was one of the best campsites I’ve visited in France. Near Guerande, it has large pitches, cozy mobile homes, a spacious pool, and great toboggans. The staff were really friendly too.

A friendly, family-oriented campsite, and the pool was even better than it looked on the website. Next time I’ll ask for a sunnier pitch.
