Cavalibre Mesquer chambre d'hôtes

Cavalibre sits in a beautiful natural setting, and the place feels peaceful and thoughtfully integrated into it. The welcome was warm, with a real passion for sharing this special environment. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well designed for a relaxing getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility, nature, and authenticity.

The heated pool was the highlight, and the location was pleasant for lovely bike rides. The room and bedding were comfortable, and the host was responsive. There’s a shared kitchen and bathroom. Some things need attention: the gîte was noisy, the host a little intrusive, the surroundings cluttered, and the cleanliness could be better.

What a letdown. We booked without reading the reviews, and on arrival they had the nerve to say the reviews were all lies. The manner was impolite and far too familiar. The room was clean, thankfully, but even that would be best avoided. We only stayed to sleep. The pool needs work, and so do the bathroom, lighting, wiring, and faucets. The hygiene especially needs improvement. I’ll leave it there.

Sylvie was sociable and helpful, and clearly devoted to her guests. Her warm welcome, good humor, and smile made for a lovely experience. We slept well in a comfortable bed. Thanks, Sylvie, we’ll be back soon. Yenny and Nelia
