You can rent canoes at this nice little spot by the river. The water’s really shallow.

The river Drôme ran right alongside us, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the water. The campsite sits in gorgeous natural surroundings, with lovely places to explore and astonishing scenery. Staff were very friendly. The facilities are basic, but clean and had everything we needed for a really pleasant stay. Loved it!

We stayed in one of the tent lodges, which was fantastic, and the whole site felt laid back and relaxing. It’s a shabby chic little campsite, with the river only a few metres from your door wherever you pitch. The surrounding area is stunning. There is some road noise, since the site is between two busy roads, and you can hear lorries in the evening. Honestly, you soon tune it out.

There are lots of lovely villages nearby, with great French markets, and the setting by the Drome is beautiful. The restaurant is ok, as are the toilets and showers. There were a lot of Dutch families, and you could order Dutch snacks at the restaurant or speak Dutch at reception. I liked that less, since on holiday I want to feel far from home. Still, a nice camping!

A lovely place to canoe, with nice accommodation and grounds. The staff are very nice, and it’s budget friendly. Highly recommend!
