I especially liked the big terrace looking out over the hills. The inside feels warm and welcoming, even though the outside is rather plain. The rooms are small and simple, but clean and have what you need. The food is generous and delicious, with thoughtful, understated cooking, and the welcome is both friendly and efficient. It’s rare to find that mix of good taste and genuine conviviality. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Don’t hesitate!

The terrace has a lovely view. We like this sort of village cooking, and the €15 set menu includes a starter and main. The endives au gratin came with plenty of béchamel, and the veal blanquette was tender with a creamy sauce. Traditional French food, straightforward and really good.
