Those homemade apricot preserves were delicious, and I especially loved the crêpes at breakfast, along with the fresh fruit. Our room was airy and the bed comfortable, and we found everything very clean. There were even drinks waiting for us when we arrived. The owners made us feel at home straight away, and we enjoyed eating pizza from the food truck in town in their quiet garden. Such a relaxing little village stay. We highly recommend FACE AU LAVOIR if you're after some peace and quiet.

Solange came to our rescue when we arrived around 7-8 in the evening and all the restaurants were already closed. She booked us a table in a nearby village. The next morning we had a great breakfast in the courtyard, and we really enjoyed our first bed and breakfast stay. The couple were so warm and welcoming. It's a lovely little place in the French countryside, about a half-hour drive from saulte and its lavender fields.

We spent two nights here and would happily come back. The guesthouse is right in the village, yet wonderfully peaceful, and our room was comfortable and well equipped. The owner welcomed us warmly and was always happy to share what she knew about the area and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of variety.
