ibis Styles Metz Centre Gare

The room was neat, though it looked a bit worn and smelled musty. Breakfast was pretty average, and the parking situation wasn't great. The location was all right, near the town centre.

The room looked nice and felt comfortable for my one-night stay, but the soundproofing was very thin. I could hear everything the neighbors were doing. Traffic on the boulevard continued at night, with emergency vehicles and cars drifting by adding to the noise.

The included breakfast had plenty to choose from, including pastries, warm bread, fruit, cheese, juice, and good coffee. The hotel also sits in a quiet spot while still being close enough to walk into Metz centre for shops, restaurants, and the cathedral. We had reliable, fast Wi-Fi throughout, and the price felt fair for the comfort and service. Our room was clean, modern, and cozy, with playful decor, a comfortable bed, and heating that worked well on cold winter days. The reception team were welcoming and helpful, and gave us useful tips about the area. We had a lovely stay and would come back.

The parking information was misleading. There isn't parking at the hotel, and they direct you to the train station car park, which is awkward to get into. I was worried about scratching the car or being attacked there. The room was large but had no heating. I don't recommend it.
