We ended up on the top floor with no elevator, just a few stairs, even though we’d said we had a child. The location also wasn’t what we’d seen in the listing. Still, the apartment itself was lovely, bright and clean.

We booked two nights, but left the next day. The accommodation we were given wasn’t the one we’d reserved and fell short of the advertised amenities. Breakfast was included but we had to ask for it, and it was extremely basic: one coffee, one orange juice and one pain au chocolat. There was a kettle, but it was in such bad shape that making tea wasn’t possible. The bathroom was very poor, to put it mildly. The host told me to seek a refund through Booking.com, where I’d booked, but won’t answer calls or texts. My registered letter came back unclaimed. Booking.com hasn’t responded either. This was a blatant rip-off. One star only because I can’t give zero. Avoid at all costs.

My son and I were left without keys on Saturday, May 8th. We weren’t reimbursed either. We booked through Hotels.com, and I’d avoid them too. We were scammed, stay away!

Hello, we rented the Quebec City apartment during our trip, and it was very disappointing. It was dirty, the trash hadn’t been emptied, and there was mold around the shower. The drain was clogged with a mass of hair and mold. Water leaked from the fridge onto the food, and the sheets were badly soiled, with cigarette holes in them. The owner clearly doesn’t know the meaning of hygiene.
