Spa et Sauna au coeur de Metz (unenuitametz)

The upstairs space in this old building was a pleasant surprise, though we were disappointed by the bed size, just 140 cm. The room also had old chewing gum stuck to the floor, which didn't feel very hygienic. A lot of the whirlpool bath's massage jets didn't work, and neither did the remote for the LED ceiling lights. We stayed upstairs and didn't use the lounge downstairs, but it would've been nice to have a TV up there. For one weeknight, the price felt too high for what we got. We expected better for the room rate.

The accommodation was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the location was good. The Mazette parking lot mentioned in an earlier review was nearby and inexpensive for the number of hours we parked. The owner was very responsive, but there were too many things that didn't work: the light remotes, the jacuzzi Bluetooth, and the kitchen drawer wasn't stocked well enough. The shower water was barely lukewarm, too. They might normally seem like small details, but at this nightly rate, I expected everything to work. The service didn't justify the price.

The on-site employee was impeccable, welcoming us warmly at any hour and keeping us laughing. We made a mistake two hours from home and had nowhere to sleep, but the owner responded so fast that the booking was done in three minutes at 11 p.m.!! 👍🏼👍🏼

We had a lovely stay in the spa loft for our fifth anniversary. It's tastefully decorated and modern, while still having the unexpected beauty of an old building, and it's just a short walk from the city center. A few practical touches would help: a coat rack by the entrance, something to block the draft coming in there, and a blackout sticker for the small upper bedroom window. Light comes through it, and the neighbors can see us in the spa. For the price, even a basic breakfast with one pastry and juice per person would be nice, since coffee and tea are already provided. The spa also drains poorly, and some dishes were dirty, with sticky honey on the rims of glasses in the cupboard. Thanks for the stay! 🌸
