B&B HOTEL Paris Meudon Vélizy

The bed was comfortable and the room was well soundproofed. That was about all I liked. The sheets and pillows had stains and other people’s hair on them, and the mirror and shower were streaky, with dust and cobwebs elsewhere in the room. There wasn’t regular housekeeping, but when staff did start cleaning, they made noise and woke people around 9-10 a.m. I came back late wanting to rest, and the room still wasn’t going to be cleaned. The irons were filthy, and one left a stain on my white shirt that wouldn’t come out. When I told reception, they blamed me and said I didn’t know how to iron. No apology. As a guest from Germany, I expected basic cleanliness and service from a hotel in France, and was very disappointed. I can’t recommend it.

We’ve traveled all over, and this hotel is in our top three. Reception staff were brilliant and knew their stuff, and parking was easy in the underground garage, with a lift straight up to our sixth-floor room. The room was great for our two-night stay, and the Wi-Fi worked well. For getting to Paris, we took the 179 or 291 to the bus station, then metro M9 to the Eiffell Tower. It took about 35 minutes and cost 5 euros. We’ll use this place again next time we’re in Paris. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were a group of 58, so sorting out rooms to fit everyone’s itineraries wasn’t easy. Yasmine at reception found a solution for all of us. She was quick to respond, helpful, and really good at dealing with each person. Her help is why we chose to stay here instead of looking elsewhere. The hotel was clean, and the staff were pleasant. Stayed four nights. Clean throughout, with the basics in place, including a shower, outlets and WI-FI. The beds were okay, and the setup using codes instead of key-cards was neat. It’s one bus stop from a bus station.
