Such a lovely, quiet spot out in the countryside. You can Uber into the city, but that peace and quiet is PRICELESS! ‼😇💕

The apartment was smaller and didn't feel like as good a deal as the one we rented before, which had been a 10 for us. We did have a very welcoming hostess, though we unfortunately didn't meet her this time. The decor is beautiful and all tied together, but it's a shame you can't close any curtains. The kitchen is very bare, with no cutting board or broom and just one pot. It's wonderfully quiet around here, but you can hear your neighbors talking. We'd definitely come back if we get the chance.
The apartment was clean and comfortable, though small and not especially memorable. We were disappointed by the pool, which was cold, and the photos were out of date. They clearly showed the owner's pool rather than the one guests use.
We ended up staying for six months, and the last three were a disaster because of the renovations. We left with the owner still owing us 300 euros. It took a month and several messages to get our security deposit back. The owner was appalling and disrespectful. Noisy work with doors and drills started without warning, and some of it happened inside our apartment with no notice, including replacing the electric cooktop, installing air conditioning, and running pipes. Workers were constantly outside the studio window, so there was no privacy. A fence was the only thing between our terrace and the owners' house, and they completely ignored the noise. The place was close to the power plant, which hummed all night, and the neighbor's dog barked day and night. During the shoulder season the accommodation was almost uninhabitable: terribly damp, with clothes rotting in the closets, mold on the walls, several bathroom leaks, a shower door that wouldn't close, and a shower head clogged with limescale. Avoid it.
Chrystele was attentive and gave us great tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh croissants, and the newly renovated, spacious bedroom had tasteful decor and comfortable bedding. The house was lovely and peaceful, with a view of Sainte Victoire mountain. We had a fantastic weekend and would happily return.
