The house stayed cool even in the summer heat, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We spent two weeks there as a family in July 2022, and our hostess, Doucilia, was welcoming and easy to reach if we needed anything. She even gave the children a small personalized gift. There’s a large, lovely garden where we played ping-pong, had water fights and ate lunch in the shade of the majestic linden tree. The charming gîte is about a 10-minute walk from the river and a few shops, making it easy to explore the beautiful Lot region and its activities. We left with wonderful memories.
