10/10
The restaurant was a lovely surprise. The food was delicious, and it was convenient to have good dining right at the hotel. Parking was easy too, with plenty of spaces, and our dog was warmly welcomed, which made the trip stress-free for the whole family. Before we arrived, the staff got in touch to make sure everything was arranged, and we really appreciated that. The room was comfortable after a long day, and so quiet that we had a peaceful, undisturbed night. We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end and will definitely come back. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet stay with excellent amenities.

A good, solid hotel, perfectly placed for a stopover while driving back to London from Northern Spain.

The location is handy for Poitiers and the futuroscope, and the hotel is okay. But it could use some care, and the service felt impersonal, as if you’re just a number and that’s all you get. We were a family of five split between two rooms at opposite ends of the hotel, which was very inconvenient. The front desk didn’t even seem to emphasize it. Breakfast was okay, but not great.

2/10
We were very dissatisfied with the service and left with a really negative impression. The room was extremely dirty, which is completely unacceptable, and much smaller than we expected or the description suggested. There was no tea or water, and the kettle was broken, making the stay even more inconvenient. We found the experience disappointing and can’t recommend this place to stay.

We’ve stayed here four times now, and it’s always been great value. The rooms are good, the staff friendly and helpful, and the menu is excellent. We got to taste a couple of the recommended wines before buying, which was nice. Great service. Looking forward to coming back for our fifth visit.
