Moorea Camping

The night was really peaceful, and I’d happily come back to this lovely campsite. I booked a pitch for my campervan and felt welcome straight away. The pool was clean, with swings and restrooms on site. On Saturday evening there was music, and while I was making food people kept waving me over to join them. I loved that. Thanks, everyone, for such a nice time. I recommend the place 😉

There’s a small restaurant in the evening, though it’s closed on Tuesdays, and there’s no entertainment. The site is well kept and quiet, but there’s little shade. The pool sits in full sun, which is a shame. There are also no bars to hold on to when getting into the water, so older people and disabled visitors haven’t really been considered.

We’ll definitely come back, and next time with a bigger group! The pizzas were a real treat, and the campsite has friendly facilities like a pool, shaded spots, games and barbecues. We were pleasantly surprised as soon as we arrived. The owners gave us a simple, warm welcome and were so attentive that we felt at home right away. It was a pleasure to rediscover the joys of camping here, surrounded by nature and a sense of relaxation. The campsite is very well maintained. Stephanie and Christophe.

The pitches are clean and well maintained, in a green, restful setting, and the campsite feels secure. MOOREA Camping is a welcoming, family-friendly place in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre, a real little island of pleasure for a happy holiday. The pool is well placed for children’s water games. There’s plenty to do around it too, with the bar and terrace, pizzeria, snack bar, billiards, foosball and games. Petanque and table tennis are covered as well. I had a great time at the rougail-sausage evening 🎼😉 Michel and Martine deserve a special mention for their warm welcome and attentive care for everyone. I highly recommend it!
