Off Paris Seine

We liked our Horizon room's coffee maker, fridge, and safe, and the location was very convenient. A few more hooks for clothes would have helped. The breakfast was a real letdown for a hotel with such high nightly rates. Staff seemed overwhelmed, there weren't enough cups or plates, and the orange juice and bread ran out without anyone noticing. One day there were no napkins, and the scrambled eggs were burnt. I'd book without breakfast and eat somewhere else. The dining room chairs looked cheap and shabby, and there were big stains on the carpet in some of the run-down communal areas. I think the whole place could use a refresh.

We spent the first two nights facing the dock and the next two with a Seine view. Both were lovely. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. The hotel has a pool near the dining area, which is an odd spot for it and might be why it doesn't get used as much. It's on the small side, but there's room for one or two families. Coffee and tea are available to everyone all day. The hotel is on the water, so it moves a little from time to time. If motion affects you, keep that in mind, as it may be hard to handle over time. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a coffee machine were in the room; razors, bathrobes, and other extras are available free if you ask. The air conditioning stopped working during our last two nights. With every room booked, moving us wasn't easy. The staff tried hard to help, bringing fans and cold water, and gave us breakfast the next day at no charge since we hadn't bought it. Breakfast had some really nice options.

We'd absolutely stay here again. The staff were super friendly, and the room was nice. The train was close by, which was great, and there was excellent food just across the river.

The restaurant was great, and taxis were always easy to find. The metro is very close too. Rooms are on the small side, but they're well equipped and make good use of the space. The hotel has a lot of style. Tres Genial!
