We chose this simple seaside hotel for a night mainly because it's close to the port in Bastia, about a 10-minute drive away. There was no Wi-Fi or refrigerator. We had two double-bed rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, TV and hairdryer, plus a small terrace overlooking the sea. There's also a little pool. Parking is in a garage across a busy road from the hotel.

We really enjoyed the pool and being able to get to the ocean, and the beds were comfortable. Our room was very clean, too. The staff were lovely and took care of everything we needed, making the stay feel stress-free. The food was so good, especially for the price. My husband and I would recommend the hotel and hope to come back.

Just beyond busy Bastia, the hotel has lovely coastal views from the rooms and restaurant. The evening menu has a good range, and what I tried was excellent. The pool isn't big, but it was refreshing, with plenty of loungers for sunbathing. I can see it getting busy on weekends and in peak summer.

The reception team were exceptional, but the meal was disappointing. The steak was poor quality and lukewarm, and no steak knife was offered. I asked for the dessert menu, which never came. The rosé was poor, and nobody checked on us during the meal.

A peaceful hotel right by the sea, with a splendid ocean view. The place was clean and nice, and the staff were very friendly.
