Quick Palace Lyon Saint Priest

For the price, it's a good deal.

The only thing in its favor is that it's practical. Otherwise, run away. I trusted all those kind, positive reviews, but seriously, stop the carnage. What is this shabby, gloomy, seedy hotel, 200m away? The bathroom and toilet are a plastic capsule like something from outer space, with questionable stains. The bed was okay, with two pillows, a duvet, and two towels. But it was freezing when I arrived, and the toaster-style radiator is just like the one in my first temporary apartment 25 years ago. As for the air conditioning, good luck. The paintwork is a complete botch, with gray squares hiding suitcase marks and other damage. There are just two electrical outlets, one by the entrance and one at the back, none by the bed, and they're burnt out. Air even leaks through them. The baseboards, carpet, and yellow shower door were disgusting. I have photos.

We were glad to find this hotel for a stop before heading to the Alps. It's near the highway, and the rooms are small but clean. Nothing luxurious, but it's adequate and reasonably priced. The shower room is like the ones in Formula 1 hotels. Breakfast is simple but enough, with the essentials and fresh pastries.

The room was decent and parking was easy to access, but what really stood out was the staff. I arrived worried that something crazy might happen in this hotel. Then I met the receptionist, who brought the place to life with the kind of customer service that's sadly rare now. I'm used to more luxurious hotels, but a welcome and service like that are unusual. I felt privileged to meet him, and I'll do everything I can to pamper everyone I know the way he did for me. He's a true angel. If you get the chance to stay here, you'll leave refreshed, full of care, and believing in humanity again. Thank you so much!
