We stopped here on our drive from the UK to Portugal. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable, and the staff were very helpful about arranging our late check-in. We didn't get to eat there, so I can't comment on the food. I just wish checkout were a little later, since 10 AM felt early.

We last visited in 2020, and came back under the new owner this time. It was awesome. The portions were good and everything tasted great. The lamb was so tender it fell apart, and the crème brûlée melted in my mouth. We'll definitely be back soon.

We had different starters from the mix-and-match set menu, and both were excellent. For our mains we each had lamb shank. It was so tender the meat fell off the bone, and I don't know how they got it onto the plate. We both had crème brûlée for dessert, and it was spot on. Xavier was a helpful, knowledgeable host. I've eaten at a couple of local restaurants, and this is the only one worth mentioning. I recommend it.

The lady was friendly, but the waiter wasn't helpful. We complained about the main course and got no response. The entrée was very good, but the main wasn't much to get excited about, with very little meat. It was supposed to be 200 grams, I think, but looked closer to 100.

The host was really nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and affordable too. Breakfast was nice.
