The fresh herbs brought out the flavor in every dish, and we really enjoyed the meal. The hotel sits in a lovely medieval village, and its owner is also the chef at the excellent restaurant.

We ended up needing a room after our car trouble turned into a real ordeal, and the hotel team came through for us. We called at 7pm because the insurance company still hadn't found us a replacement car and we had nowhere to sleep. The hostess quickly adapted to the situation, and everyone was kind and helpful, even carrying our luggage and calling a taxi when it was time to collect the replacement car. They helped us at every step. The view from the mountain terrace was beautiful, with the valley, a picturesque church, and the De Ardesch mountains in sight. We had champagne, regional wine, and an outstanding meal at the restaurant, then walked around the village in the evening. Our room was calm and relaxing, and we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was generous, with lots of local produce. After starting the evening at such a low point, we left feeling we'd had one of our best hotel experiences. The hostess and staff showed us so much hospitality. Thank you, Kobe and Roxanne.

We adored our night at La Capitelle during a trip to discover the Ardeche. The family running the business are charming, and the restaurant is lovely. Our room was simple, modern, and welcoming. If you're in Mirmande, stop in for at least a meal. Book ahead, though, as there aren't many tables and it gets busy.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and took care of all our needs with a smile. Our room was clean and cozy. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast had clearly been prepared with care and attention to detail. Hotel Capitelle is a lovely place in a picturesque village.

The village itself is worth more than a quick stop, with plenty of interest and a place among France's beaux village. At the hotel, we enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the evening, taking in the spectacular views, followed by an excellent dinner. Compliments to the chef. Breakfast the next morning featured fresh local produce and was a delight. We stayed just one night, but found the hotel welcoming and comfortable, and would certainly recommend it.
