Les Voiles Vertes

I've stayed here several times and will be back again. Even the "liquid sunshine" seems good! The spacious bedroom and comfortable bed were just what we needed each night, and the proprietor is genuinely kind and helpful. The location is ideal, so close to Mont St Michel. You can borrow a bicycle and explore along the Couesnin river side, collecting walnuts in season in September on the way to the Mont. Breakfast is delicious, with freshly baked croissants, or scrambled eggs if the free range chickens decide to lay! I can't fault the place.

The rooms were tidy, and there was a cozy spot to sit outside in the backyard. Breakfast was yummy, especially the freshly baked croissants. The host was kind and helpful, and there were two cute cats living there. I really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the blue room, which had a double bed and a twin, so it worked perfectly for two or three people. The place was beautiful and very clean, and Marianne was so kind and accommodating. She had lots of restaurant suggestions and made us feel at home, then served a delicious breakfast the next morning. It's close to Mont St Michel, and since my boyfriend and I came by train, we rented bikes from the host for 5 euros. The ride takes about 25 minutes, with the island getting closer for almost the whole way. I loved this cozy, homey B&B and would recommend it to anyone staying overnight to visit the Mont.

It's very close to Mont St Michel, and you can walk or cycle there on the path along the river. Marianne is a kind host who makes you feel welcome. The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated, and clean, and breakfast is very nice. I'll definitely come again.
