La Ferme du Vallon

The accommodation was excellent, and it’s a great base for visiting the Verdun Memorial and the battlefields. The hosts made us feel very welcome.

Moirey is all about quiet and nature, with a slower pace that makes it so charming. It’s a lovely place to properly unwind. The pitches are spacious, and there’s running water and electricity if you need them. Two hot showers and three toilets are available. Benoît and Carole are lovely and welcoming, always attentive even though farm work keeps them busy. Take the time to get to know them. I had a magical stay at Ferme du Vallon. The horse connection and relaxation session was a big thank you-worthy experience, and I went on another horseback ride afterward. Both experiences changed my outlook and helped me understand the horse and myself better.

My daughter was turning 7 and is a huge pony fan, so we spent the night in our campervan at La Ferme du Vallon for her birthday. We slept really well, and the highlight was a session with Benoit, who whispers to horses. It was moving and wonderful. She said it was the best lesson of her life. A huge thank you!
