Michel was so welcoming and generous. The cooking was simple, home-style family food. The rooms were spacious, though there were mosquitoes, and Michel took our comments into account. We were sorry there weren't any other pilgrims staying with us in the cottage. The one real drawback is that sharing a bathroom and toilet among eight people feels a bit cramped. Thanks, Michel!

Michel is a warm, welcoming host, and this place really captures the spirit of the Camino. I highly recommend it as a pleasant place to stop while walking the Camino.

Michel welcomed us warmly, was helpful, and gave us good advice. The meal was simple, home-style cooking and tasted good. But the bed was awful. We slept in a large mattress that sagged in the middle. The shower and toilet were shared. Prices aren't displayed, and we were unpleasantly surprised to pay €60 more than the owner had quoted on the phone the day before. The quote was €80 for a room for three with breakfast, plus three meals at €15 each. We paid €180 in the end, the same as three half-board stays at €60 apiece. A rather dubious way to handle it.

The house is beautiful and the views are lovely too. Michel is a great example of how to treat people: kind, very polite, and attentive to details. The food was plentiful and excellent. When someone puts care into doing things well, it shows. I'd be glad to come back.

Michel at "Le Bon Camino" made me feel at home right away. Since beginning my Camino de Santiago, this has been my most wonderful experience. He is a marvelous host, full of joy and kindness, and a man with a beautiful soul. I'd love to return. Thank you so much, and see you very soon!
