This spacious room is in a classic brick home and garden that's more than 200 years old. It has three beds, a library room, and a chapel. The stairs are classic.

We visited in spring 2017 while cycling beside the canal. The host was great and chatty, the hostess charming and helpful, and their son was cute. We had a great meal, and the lovely town is a nice place to spend a few days.

The room was bright, spacious, and nicely decorated, much more than we expected for the reasonable price. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming, and their interactive atmosphere, especially over the lovely dinner, made our stay in Moissac one we'd happily repeat.

Hot and tired after our long walk, we arrived at Ultreia Gite in Moissac and were greeted by name with a much-needed ice-cold beer. I fell in love with the place right then. Our room was spacious, and both dinner and breakfast were substantial and delicious. I left a pair of pants under the bed, and Rom & Aideen Bates arranged to have them shipped to my next destination.
