Dinner was the part we kept thinking about: fresh local ingredients, creative courses, and flavors that made us want to take our time. Breakfast was lovely too, with fresh bread and pastries, homemade jams, seasonal fruit, and good coffee. We felt looked after from the minute we arrived. The hosts shared helpful tips about the area and treated us more like friends than customers. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the house has a really charming mix of elegance and coziness. You can tell a lot of care has gone into it. Maison Groleau is a beautiful countryside place near Bordeaux. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and already talking about coming back. Five stars don't quite cover it.

Dinner with Guillaume and Pierre Louis was the standout for us. Guillaume's cooking was wonderful, and the whole evening is one we'll remember. The house itself is a dream, and the hosts made the stay unforgettable. We didn't want to leave, and would happily come back. I can't recommend staying here enough.

Our two nights at Maison Groleau were a real highlight of our two-week road trip through France. Guillaume cooked us a delicious dinner, and both the house and rooms are beautifully furnished. The garden was a lovely spot to unwind. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The tasting menu with wine was amazing, with gourmet food at great value, and breakfast was delicious each morning. Guillaume & Pierre were fantastic hosts, and we loved their beautifully restored and decorated home. The rooms felt luxurious and very comfortable. We hope to return. Mark & Angela

We really enjoyed our time at Maison Groleau. The building has been restored beautifully, with modern comfort and real respect for its character. Guillaume is a great cook, and he and Pierre Louis were wonderful hosts. Dinner and breakfast were both very good, with local food and drink that had been carefully chosen and prepared.
