Ferme du Château

The water park and games room were a hit, and the staff stayed attentive and available throughout the weekend. We rented the entire Château farm for a birthday celebration, December 13th to 14th, 2025. It’s a beautiful place, and the welcome, rooms, facilities, and meals were all perfect. Just pack a sweater, since a few rooms felt a little cold.

The price is over €100 a night, and I’d avoid the place for that amount. I’ve stayed in hotels under €70 that were a thousand times better. There’s nothing to do around there outside summer, either. The room was stripped down to a bed and two tiny metal things instead of bedside tables, and across the two rooms we rented there were only two chairs. We were freezing. No hairdryer for either room, no kettle or anything for making coffee or herbal tea, and we couldn’t even get a coffee. My child caught a cold. We used the same towels for the pool, but they weren’t changed during our three-night stay. The pool area also hadn’t been cleaned in those three days. It was filthy, disgustingly dirty. There were signs asking people not to wear shoes, yet people coming to light the hammam and sauna kept theirs on, lol. The €10 breakfast was awful too: coffee watered down to the last 100 liters, the cheapest cheese and yogurt I’ve ever had, even though those were on request, plus a pastry and a baguette that had just been left lying around. I’m trying to find something positive, but honestly can’t. Maybe a few of the young women were nice. The man in his fifties, who I think is the owner, was unpleasant. He didn’t seem to understand he was running a hotel, and could at least show guests some empathy.

The food and breakfast were fantastic, and the staff were friendly, always smiling. We arrived Friday evening and left Sunday after a wonderful romantic weekend. The setting is fabulous, and there are countless activities for adults and children. We can’t wait to come back. See you soon! 😀

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and we had a truly wonderful time. We booked the whole venue for a reunion with former students, 45 years after graduating, though it feels like yesterday. The location is superb, the rooms are spacious, and the planning conversations were very productive.
