The views of the Chateau de Monbazilac were lovely, and we used the location to explore from Sarlat and Beynac to Bergerac and Saint-Emilion. We spent four nights at Claire’s beautiful little farmhouse, tucked away in a secluded spot. Claire was a wonderful host, with great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, and her breakfast included homemade yogurt.

The neighbourhood is so peaceful, and the room is spacious and clean. Clair and David are lovely, too. It’s a handy stop between the Plum Village and Bergerac airport. We’d love to come back soon :)

We stayed for three nights and really didn’t want to leave. The owner was gracious and helpful, suggesting restaurants and things to do nearby. Vineyards surround the place, and it was so quiet and peaceful. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the fresh air and calm.

A little dream house tucked away in the southern foothills of Bergerac, about a 12-minute drive away. It feels like the middle of nowhere.

Claire was so welcoming, and her helpful recommendations and delicious breakfast made us feel at home during our romantic weekend. Her stone house is beautifully built, with vineyards all around and a pool for cooling off on hot days. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend!
