We stayed in the apartment closest to the archway. The other two apartments looked more up to date and grander, though ours was nice too. It made a good base, and the old farmhouse has lots of character. There’s plenty of parking and space in the large rooms, plus lovely grounds with lots of outdoor seating. The orchard has plenty of apples for the two very friendly horses. Well worth a visit.
The garden is marvelous, and the Chateau is enchanting. We found the interior very nice and everything in good condition, with pleasant landlords. It’s a great spot for a family stay, and Le Chateau de Monceaux makes it easy to get around all of Normandy.
The owner was a great host, and the place is perfectly located for exploring Normandy.
The setting is beautiful, and the D-Day landing beaches are close by. Laurence welcomed us warmly, and we had a wonderful family weekend in this gîte. The rooms were clean and spacious. We’d definitely recommend it! :)
The hosts were lovely and charming, and the exterior is well maintained. Inside, everything is neat. It seems suited to a relaxing, longer stay. Highly recommended.
