Kyriad Lille - Mons En Baroeul

The bedroom was good, but the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Breakfast was pretty weak for the extra cost.

We stopped here for one night on the way from the Netherlands to Paris, in a room with a sofa bed, the first room on the left on the first floor after the stairs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Still, it was hard to fall asleep, even with earplugs: there was a loud sound in the evening, possibly ventilation or heating from a nearby utility room. It stopped late at night, then started again in the morning. Sound insulation was poor too. We could hear a TV in a nearby room and people talking loudly.

A nice breakfast and a very comfortable restaurant were a plus at this small budget hotel, which could suit travellers staying for one night. There's a private car park with four spaces for charging electric cars. The rooms are small, cheaply furnished, and due for refurbishment. The tiny bathrooms aren't in the best condition, and the toilet doesn't flush well.

Pretty good for the price, and right by the highway, so it's easy to get to. The only bad thing in the room was the black, moldy-looking gunk in the shower.
