The view opens onto the forest, and the little village of Mons is close by. Nicole was generous and clearly has a kind heart. We stayed one night and had dinner there, which was good and nicely served. It's a lovely place to unwind, with a decent-sized pool we couldn't try because it rained. There are pets around too, a big dog, donkey, sheep and maybe a cat. I'd recommend it if you enjoy old-fashioned Provençal style, and we'd try the pool next time.

It was easy to feel at home here, even with our baby, and Nicole was a wonderful host. The meals were delicious, and the setting is beautiful. We had such a relaxing, lovely vacation.

We had a really relaxing stay, with Nicole around when needed but never intrusive. She even let us check in early, so we could enjoy the pool during the intense heat, unlike the later check-in time we'd expect at a hotel or a more modern place. The garden feels personal and thoughtfully decorated, with wrought-iron furniture around a beautiful stone pool. There are a few big sofas, though two more sun loungers would have been great since sofas aren't as comfortable for sunbathing. The house itself is Provençal in style and looks out over the valley, just a few minutes' drive from Mons. Breakfast was a real highlight: lovely service and tableware, with homemade pastries, bread, biscuits and jams. Simple, delicious, just right for a treat. You can tell the host puts her heart into this place.

So calm and soothing, with an incredible landscape and a magical feel to the setting. Everything was impeccably clean. The host was sensational, discreet, experienced and lovely. Bravo!
