Le Chai de Villiers

Being close to Futuroscope was a real plus, but we could hear a lot through the walls. Our charming neighbors were noisy during our stay, and the welcome felt less warm than we’d expected.

The owners were so kind and welcoming. We found the bed and breakfast warm, comfortable, and peaceful, and tea and coffee were provided. We stayed here on a trip to Futuroscope and would definitely recommend it.

We especially liked the quiet and the Zen garden around the pool. Our room was large, peaceful, and looked out onto the garden, and our hosts gave us a very warm welcome. The charcuterie snack platter is well worth having in the evening in the common room. It made for a lovely, relaxing stop halfway between Versailles and Bordeaux.

We only stayed one night, but Le Chai would be worth a longer visit. It’s peaceful here, and we loved relaxing by the pool on the sun loungers with a book and the sound of birds. The garden and pool are surrounded by palm and olive trees. Our room was spacious, comfortable, refined, and cozy, and breakfast was delicious. The hostess welcomed us with Charentais melon from the local producer and a small glass of local white wine, a lovely treat by the pool after a day of driving. Le Chai makes a perfect stop on a holiday road trip.
