Atmosphère Hotel

The rooms were nothing special, but they were fine, and getting to nearby shops was quick and easy. The location is ideal. The buffet served Italian food, which was nice, though there was so much pasta. Please mix up the menu next time. It was still a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it.

The price felt fair for the quality, and the hotel is ideally placed for the lift and other amenities. But some staff got into very heated arguments at breakfast and dinner, shouting in front of us. It was annoying and really not appropriate. Also, I left a towel with obvious blood stains on the floor to be washed. It was never taken away. Every day I found it hanging up again, still unwashed, right up until I left.

The team were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is great value. It’s close to the main routes up the slopes, lots of bars and restaurants, and a convenience store. Breakfast was a very good continental spread, and dinner was really good too, sometimes almost too much, with a pasta course that you might think was the main. I’d recommend staying here. I held back one star because the Wi-Fi didn’t work and still hadn’t been fixed after I asked a few times during the week. The Stella was flat too, as the glasses have no widget, though to be fair, flat beer seems common in the village.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed the spa, which could be booked by the hour for a fee. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with authentic Italian dishes, as the hotel is run by Italians. The room was cozy, with warm materials on the walls and floor, two single beds and a bunk bed that we could fold away since there were only three of us. It also had a bathroom with a shower, a small TV, two chairs, a table and a dresser. The hallway wardrobe had room for all our clothes, snowboard gear and luggage. The hotel’s location is hard to beat, just a short walk from the Jandri lift, après-ski, supermarket and pharmacy. My friends and I stayed for nine days in February 2023, booking through the German tour operator E&P Reisen for the Snowzone event. It was an amazing stay, affordable and comfortable, and I’d definitely return to Hotel Atmosphere in Les Deux Alpes.
