We were there for just one night in May, and the room was a bit tired but adequate. The ski area view was amazing, so I can picture the hotel getting very popular and busy in the height of winter. Dinner felt strangely quiet, with only four tables occupied while we were there. It was OK for one night for us.

The restaurant was decent, particularly the plat du jour and the kids’ meal, though service was very slow because of staff shortages. The indoor heated pool was nice but could have been cleaner. Our room wasn’t very spacious, but it was comfortable and functional, with a nice shower and storage units. There was just a slight damp smell from a malfunctioning extractor.

The modern room was nice, and I was glad they accept dogs. It’s a surprisingly high-class hotel right beside the ski resort.

The location is to die for, but the hotel was very poorly kept in general. There was a really bad smell right from reception.
