We only wanted a drink, but the waitress wouldn’t serve us, so we had to go find another bar. A very poor welcome.

I only stopped in for a coffee, so I can’t say much about the place.

It was a nice quick coffee stop on the Stevenson Trail after the long climb from Bleymard. The hotel-restaurant is closed for administrative reasons because the building owner won’t bring it up to code, which is a real shame given its potential. I had my coffee at the food truck instead. The owners are doing their best to keep the business alive, and I wish them luck.

We’ve often come to this picturesque spot for the generous, delicious porcini omelet. It’s disappointing that the owners can’t run their business as they should because of the landowner. They’re still trying bravely with a food truck, serving hikers quick meals so the place doesn’t fade away. We hope things get sorted out soon, for them and for the location. See you soon, Thierry, Julie, and Titou.
