Mas de Thau

The daily happy hour with free drinks and snacks was a treat while the children played, and having chef-made meals delivered to the apartment made family dinners easy. We also appreciated the included babysitting night, and being able to leave the site during kids club hours. The kids club had daily animal feeding, a bouncy castle, and paddling pool time, all of which our 3 and 5 year olds loved. Maryse and Yvan looked after us so well. They're perfect hosts. The place combines apartment perks like space and cooking facilities with hotel comforts such as a pool, kids club, and chances to socialize if you want. The setting is beautiful and well located for beaches, vineyards, pretty towns, and an excellent dinosaur open air museum nearby. We had an extremely happy, relaxing week at Mas de Thau and would thoroughly recommend it. Thanks so much, Maryse and Yvan.

This was our third year in a row, we love the holiday home that much. The food is delicious, the kids club is fantastic, and Maryse and Ivan are wonderful hosts. Our children especially enjoyed getting invited to feed the donkeys, chickens, and tortoises every day.

The kids were happy, mainly thanks to the kids club team, who were extremely kind and professional. For me, though, the rest felt very average and poor value for money. At over 5 000 for a week, I'd expect much better cleaning and maintenance. A cup full of cigarette butts was left on our terrace when we arrived, and nobody ever removed it. Several facilities were also poorly maintained. There was no bathtub for the kids, and breakfast and dinner were served too late for them, at 8am and 8pm. The kids club is the real game changer here.

We spent half term at Le Mas de Thau and loved it. Maryse and Yvan are kind, generous owners who did everything they could to make our stay special. There's lots to keep children busy: bikes, football, badminton, golf, a bouncy castle, a petanque area, and beautiful swimming pools. The children's club was great too. We stayed in Le Syrah Gite, which was beautifully designed with a contemporary feel and French taste. I had a look at all the other Gites, and each one was different, lovely, and finished to a high standard. I asked about the negative Google review. The owners said they had never hosted an Italian family and didn't know who wrote it. They were devastated and said there was no truth in it. There's nothing not to like about Le Mas de Thau.
