The owners were really pleasant and served a very good breakfast with care. Pets are welcome too, for an additional fee. The house has been renovated with great taste, the decor is splendid, and the room is very comfortable. Special mention for the remarkable bedding. Thanks for the weekend! :)

For €170 a night, I expected the price to match the access and services, but several things need attention. The room was spacious and pleasant in a beautiful house, and the bedding was comfortable, but we had no key to our room. The owners went out shopping, and when we came back around 3:45 pm to put our baby down, nobody was there to let us in. They had told us that morning, but guests paying this much should be able to access their room whenever they want. Being told that every guesthouse has its own rules wasn’t an acceptable answer. If they don’t want to give guests keys, that’s their choice, but it should be made clear from the start, and someone should be on site. We waited an hour outside despite calling twice to say we were coming back. There’s no coffee maker, kettle, or bathroom toiletries. Places at similar prices at least provide a kettle, and often a coffee machine. Guests can only use the living room, with its sofa, piano, and coffee table. The microwave is off limits because it’s in the owners’ private kitchen, the same space where breakfast is served, which is confusing. For parents of young children, a kettle seems essential, especially if a baby wakes during the night and needs a bottle warmed. The owners are pleasant and friendly, but they lack a business sense and don’t take the initiative to offer help with planning the stay. There were no keys, no questions about our itinerary, and no local tips. We felt like we were intruding on their family time and private space. A dedicated dining room for guests is also needed. The pool still wasn’t finished, just cinder block walls. Reviews had already mentioned this in August 2021, and it was supposed to be operational in June 2022. It was now the end of October. There’s also no guest parking, so we had to park on the street. All these things need to be addressed to justify the price.

Our hosts were so kind, which made the stay a real pleasure, and breakfast was delicious too. The building is beautiful, and its sublime interior decor delighted us.

Very clean, beautifully decorated, and the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Public parking is 20 meters away. They can provide exquisite pre-dinner drinks in the room if you ask. A perfect stay, highly recommend it.
