Le Durivum

The breakfast was fine, and the room and shower were clean. The bed was comfortable, but I can't say we got a warm welcome. We weren't told that the church clock across the street rings every 15 minutes from 7am until 10 or 11pm, so forget trying to rest in the afternoon. The street-facing windows are single glazed, too. The shower floor was slippery. When I mentioned it, the owner joked that I shouldn't put water in the shower, and nothing was done, even though we stayed three nights.

A beautiful room and a lovely place to spend the night.

The stone walls and old beams give this place a lovely sense of history. The bedding was very comfortable, and our host paid close attention to us throughout the two days. We had an excellent Valentine's Day stay and really enjoyed the sauna and hammam. Breakfast was superb, with unlimited coffee served at the table. I highly recommend it.

We were only passing through for one night, and the welcome was very warm. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh products, and the spa was a real treat at €25 an hour. If we're in the area again, we'd be glad to come back.
