La maison Virginie

We brought our daughter and her husband on this second stay at La Maison Virginie, and it was a real pleasure to be back. Virginie is delightful, always seeming readily available with local advice and keen to make the stay just right. The apartments are tasteful, well equipped, and impeccably clean. The location in this beautiful town is hard to beat, close to shops and lots of fine restaurants in different styles. This place is a gem. Stephen and Julie (Australia).

On both of our stays over the past two years, we had a different apartment in the same building, and each time it was just right. It's very clean and comfortable, with an ideal spot right in the center of Montargis. Virginie is lovely to deal with and really makes an effort to help us feel welcome.

I've stayed here twice, first on the first floor in Petit Fleur, then on the second floor in Apartment Romance. Both apartments were tidy and well organized, with cozy, clean rooms and furniture in excellent condition. The downtown location puts you close to the town's main sights and its best restaurants, including Lac des Closiers, The City Canals, and Canal de Briare. The host was communicative and attentive, and parking at the Indigo Doree was included, which was the best part.

I first stayed here a year ago, then came back for a week in April. The place had everything I wanted: lots of space, a well equipped kitchen, quiet surroundings, and comfortable beds. It was very clean, too. Restaurants, shops, and a beautiful park are nearby. I was with my son, and I'd rent it again without hesitation if I'm back in the area.
