The internet kept cutting out and the signal was weak. The room itself was large, but it hadn't been cleaned properly: the bathroom bin was still full, the shower plug was grimy, and toothpaste was left along the shower wall, possibly from several guests ago. I wasn't hunting for faults, these were hard to miss. Check-in was late, and after 4pm all the shutters were down, so there was no clear way to enter the hotel.

The staff were friendly and ready to help, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Our room was clean and practical, just right for an overnight stop. In Montargis, the value for money is hard to beat, and we were welcomed warmly.

The two owners were always around for guests, with a smile, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and impeccable. We had dinner there and stayed the night too. The French food was good and the bed comfortable. They really make you feel like the customer comes first. What more could you want?
