Kyriad Montauban Sud - Albasud

The staff were very welcoming, but I wouldn't pay 80EUR a night for this place again. The rooms are a little outdated, though hygiene was good, and the bathroom lighting was unpleasant. Highway noise came through clearly, and there was also a fairly loud fan somewhere in the building even with the air conditioning off. Both disturbed my sleep. There was just one power outlet by the window, so I couldn't charge my phone or notebook at the bedside. WiFi was available, but painfully slow. Refreshing email took ages, and news pages took forever to load.

We arrived 45 minutes before reception closed, and the receptionist seemed annoyed to see us. The WiFi wouldn't work in our room, though he insisted it did. There were no refreshments available, and even though the bar was open, he wouldn't give us a drink to take upstairs. The room smelled of smoke, the beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy. I can't think of anything redeeming about the place. It was easily the worst stay I've had. Save yourself £20 and go to the Premiere Classe next door.

The room was okay, old but clean, and the staff were helpful and tried to be friendly. It's a basic motel beside the highway, though, so expect traffic noise and exhaust fumes in the morning.

We didn't stay and booked somewhere else instead. The room was dirty, with fungus in the shower and sticky floors, and the customer service was bad. A really bad experience.
