Le Domaine du Mijarnier

Good.

The grounds are beautiful, and breakfast is served in a lovely room, but it’s very small and you don’t feel comfortable asking for seconds. The welcome was poor, especially when we arrived outside the scheduled hours without letting them know beforehand. We also had no towels in the room, and didn’t dare ask for any in case we inconvenienced them. Even when cancelling a reservation within the legally mandated timeframe, you won’t get a refund.

There’s a lovely walk around the grounds, reaching the pond and even going into the woods. The room was exactly as described, with no surprises, and very clean. We had a warm, friendly welcome, and the setting is magnificent. It was completely quiet at night, so we slept soundly. Breakfast service in the morning was perfect.

The children were thrilled to get a pony ride, which was a lovely bonus during our family stay at Domaine des Mijarniers. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, and we were warmly welcomed. Breakfast was generous, and the stay was good value for money. Le PAL amusement park is 10 minutes away.
