The place has a comfortable feel, neither deserted nor too busy, with clean rooms that have high ceilings and a baroque style. The pool is a good size, with plenty of space in both shade and sun, and the garden is great for eating outdoors. Staff are friendly but firm about keeping things orderly, and step in quickly if guests get too loud. The nearby town has a decent grocery store, so there's no need to drive 45 minutes, plus nice little shops and a weekly market with local produce. There's also a bakery and a very good Italian restaurant that gives you a bottle of wine when you take away two pizzas. The view of mont ventoux is lovely, without a constant stream of cyclists passing the door. The on-site restaurant next door is brilliant too, serving classic French dishes like raw meat and scallops, all very good, with great wines. You can also buy the wines there to take away. A brilliant spot for a relaxing holiday.

Studio 43 was clean and had everything we needed, including a jacuzzi tub. The castle can feel a little austere, but I like buildings with a story. The pool was fantastic and clearly well looked after, and there was a big shaded parking area. Isabelle was so kind and helpful, an angel really!

We came away feeling like we'd made a friend. Isabel was incredibly helpful and friendly, and we were already looking forward to returning as we left. We booked on the morning of May 1st for the long weekend, and she went out of her way to find us an affordable studio in the compact building. It's a little dated, with basic but functional amenities, but the view is breathtaking. The park is magnificent, with tall trees, birds, and squirrels. The refreshing pool is beautifully maintained, overlooking the old village and Mont Ventoux. There are also pétanque and tennis courts, sun loungers, and picnic tables on the lawn. The village and thermal baths are just a two-minute walk away, and it's a great base for hiking or cycling. Thank you!!!

Everything around Château des Gipières feels magical, from the local landscape and Mont Ventoux to Montbrun-les-Bains, its shops, and its people. Isabel, who runs reception at the estate, is especially wonderful: available, attentive, dedicated, professional, pleasant, always ready to help, smiling, and efficient.
