The setting by the Gardon is lovely, with private fishing spots, kayaking and swimming, plus plenty of tree-shaded pitches. The toilets and showers were kept clean, and it’s welcoming for pets and families with kids. Nearby, you can see the traditional course camarguaise, the bloodless bullfights, and the gaze, where people swim across the river with bulls and horses. Christian and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Special thanks to Mathilde, Guillaume and Arianne, as well as Christian. There’s great local food cooked by chef Cristophe with local organic ingredients, and the prices are low. They also put on regular activities for the family, like karaoke, a lottery and performances by artists. The atmosphere was so warm, and I wish I could give it 10 stars. Camarguaise, the local liqueur, is worth trying. I’d recommend this camping 1000%.

We stayed for a week and felt appreciated the whole time. Christian was kind and helpful, and answered every question we had. Our mobile home seemed like new. The trees make the camping nicely shady, so getting direct sunlight can be tricky. For us, that was a good base for fishing and visiting Provance, Camargue and Nimes. I strongly recommend it for couples or families looking to explore the area, including those travelling with a dog like we were.

Plenty of nature surrounds this charming spot on the Gardon. In summer, the trees give welcome shade and keep the climate pleasant. The campground restaurant and bar have a cozy area, and the atmosphere is friendly. I’d happily come back.

The owners were friendly and the campsite was nice, but the facilities didn’t justify the price. We paid 30 euro for a tent site for two adults and a baby (2yrs ). It was the most expensive campsite we stayed at between Avignon and Sete.
