People drinking below open windows made a noisy combination when we were trying to sleep.

A clean, pleasant place.

We were three people staying for five days, and the sleeping space was far too cramped. There was only about thirty cm between the beds, a wardrobe at the foot, and the bed was under 90 cm long. At 1.87, my feet stuck out. The poor housekeeping didn’t help: there was carpeting on the wardrobe shelves. When we asked for a towel to put over it, we were told towels were counted, followed by a remark about being in France rather than Italy. We thought we were in Europe. There was also a cold draft coming from a bedroom corner, with -17 outside. We asked if they could block it somehow, even with a blanket, and got a comment that it was winter. To avoid letting this spoil our vacation, we pushed the beds toward the wardrobe before bed and used a chair and our jackets to cope. The beds then blocked the wardrobe from opening. The staff’s lack of courtesy and kindness was unbelievable. Thankfully, not every local place was so inhospitable.

The resort location is ideal, with the slopes only steps away. We found the beds comfortable, the breakfast generous and good quality, and the atmosphere friendly. We spent a long weekend here and would happily recommend it. It lives up to its rating.
