Les Chambres de la Villa Saint-Antoine

The value simply wasn't there. The food disappointed, and the wine prices were exorbitant. At 39 euros, the lunch menu of the day felt ridiculous for such poor quality and limited choice. Last year, the team was excellent: a lovely hostess, an excellent chef, creative dishes, and reasonable prices. It's a shame they let them go. Now I wouldn't recommend spending your time here.

We waited almost an hour for anyone to attend to us after dinner service ended and the "chabada bada" of cocktails and drinks began. The sommelier said we could finish our bottle, even though it was around 00:30 and they were open until at least 1:30. Then, around 1:00, the manager, or whoever was acting as manager, came over and told us it was time to leave. It felt like we were being kicked out. The new waiting staff still have a lot to learn, and there's plenty of room for improvement. The place still has that show-off, dress-up feel, with a wide cocktail selection and tapas like before, but the restaurant menu is limited. There are no lunch or dinner set menus, which used to be such good value under the previous owner, with beautiful presentation. I'm comparing it with how it was then, and it's just not as good now, which is a pity. We'll come back next Easter or summer to see whether anything changes.

A lovely old villa with a beautiful garden, terrace, and pool, and my favorite restaurant and bar in Vaucluse. The dishes are presented beautifully, the portions are just right, and the prices are very decent. They also have a solid whisky menu. A must if you're in the region.

The garden setting is beautiful, and the Villa and Jardin are lovely. Everyone was friendly and helped us through our limited French, and the wine list is extensive. The food looked gorgeous, though some dishes were uneven. The fish entrée with haricort vert salad had good flavors but felt like a collection of them rather than a dish with its own identity. The rabbit entrée was dominated by yogurt, cucumber, and parsley, with the rabbit mostly adding texture. The plates, especially the cochon, were fabulous. The berry dessert had interesting flavors but no unifying identity. The chocolate mousse, though, was fantastic, with coffee foam and deep, dark chocolate that went perfectly together. Wonderful ambience, very friendly service, and good food overall. Definitely worth a visit.
