The room was filthy, with bugs crawling around, and there was an unpleasant strange smell through the hotel, especially in the room. The bed and mattress were awful too. I woke with back pain every day, and the constant noise at all hours made it impossible to rest. Staff were rude and no help at all. My problems started with the booking. I paid for a flexible rate but got no understanding or customer service when I tried to change my dates. At breakfast, the bread was stale, the cheese moldy, and the coffee awful. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. I wouldn't come back even if it were free. The place should be inspected by health and safety authorities, it's a disgrace.

We were here with our TV crew for three weeks of work during the Olympics, and being so close to our venue made the stay convenient. The hotel was good, the staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned every day. I wasn't keen on the wall-to-wall carpet in the rooms. There was no wardrobe or mini fridge either.

Everything was an easy walk from the hotel, and the rooms felt cozy. We had an amazing weekend, helped along by the wonderful staff at Campanile. Breakfast is packed with choices, so there's sure to be something to suit your taste. I highly recommend it.

The staff and service were lovely throughout, and the beds were very comfortable. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but receptionist Borac (?) apologised and offered us a complimentary drink while we waited. The deputy manager apologised too. We got to breakfast late, yet the catering manager kindly served us in the salon, which was a much appreciated gesture. It's a busy hotel in a central spot, with a nice foyer and restaurant. Breakfast is served until 9am on weekdays and 10am at weekends. If you book, try to reserve a room overlooking the water. We can't fault the service. Bravo to everyone, and recommended.
