I slept really well here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was hot. Camille and Lucille have turned an old cognac barn and distillery into beautifully renovated rooms, and their hospitality was so good I nearly scrapped my plans for the following day just to stay longer. Finding this bed and breakfast in the countryside village of montils felt like a breath of fresh air. I left feeling refreshed, and it's about 20 minutes from cognac.

Montills is a charming village surrounded by lovely countryside, and staying here felt like a chance to step away from the rat race for a few days. The room was lovely, the food was great, and the hosts were wonderful. If you're after a typical French experience in a fantastic home, this is the place.

I was in town for a local wedding at the Chateau de Brives and stayed three nights. The room had everything I needed, and Camille and Lucille were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too.

The lounge is a nice place to relax, with plenty of board games and tea and coffee to enjoy. The house is cozy and the village quiet, and the hosts were nice. There was water in the shower and Wi-Fi.

The owners have rebuilt the old cognac barn with a lot of taste and quality. We were welcomed very warmly, spent a quiet evening, and had a nice breakfast. It's a small village with plenty of charm.
