The pool was a plus, and Jean-Michel is humble, kind, and very respectful. The rest of our two-week stay was disappointing. The owner never offered to change the sheets or towels, and the breakfast was very basic: bread, butter, and jam, with no orange juice or dairy products. Our room's air conditioning barely worked. When we asked Valerie about doing laundry, we were willing to pay 5 or 10 euros. She said our clothes weren't dirty and that 15 minutes in the washing machine with water would be enough. We ended up asking our longtime friend, Mr. Pierre-Louis Marin from the Auberge du Cellier, who kindly did the laundry for us at his place. We also cleaned our own room while Valerie was busy sitting outside smoking cigarettes. She'd said we'd be treated like royalty, as if we were at a friend's house, but that wasn't how it felt at all. A word to the wise.

A peaceful, pleasant stay with a superb pool. Valérie and Jean-Michel were very friendly, and meeting them was wonderful. I highly recommend it. See you very soon!

We had a family room and a perfect, warm welcome. The shared living area was nice, and our private room was charming and well equipped. We had an excellent stay and I recommend it.

The pool was lovely, and the air conditioning inside was a welcome plus. We had a wonderful stay with Valérie and Jean-Michel, who are incredibly kind, and their magnificent, adorable dogs. I highly recommend it.

The house is quiet, the dog is adorable, and the pool was just right for a nighttime swim. We had a great time, with a warm welcome and friendly staff. The dinners are well worth trying, with delicious homemade food. It made for an excellent, peaceful stopover, and a memorable visit. I'll come back when I'm in the area! Gérald
