The food was all delicious, and we liked that the children were served proper meals rather than chicken nuggets and fries. The menu was small and only in French, so we ended up choosing somewhat at random. The décor has a lovely French feel.

Our lunch at this local restaurant was made even better by the smooth jazz and the excellent service. The food was tasty, and we recommend the €25 menu, though from what we could tell it’s too much for one person.

Just the sort of place you hope to come across on a French holiday. The food was excellent and unfussy, exactly how I like it. The dining room has charm and personality, much like the owners.

The balance of flavors was exquisite, and this was the best meal I’ve had in ages. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend if you’re in Montolieu, and even if you aren’t, it’s worth the detour!

The lunch was delicious: piperade tart with quail eggs and salad, then lamb steak and a parsley crusted lamb chop with fresh vegetables and rosti. I couldn’t fit in dessert. My husband had a lovely steak.
